Growing up and aspiring to be a collegiate-student-athlete, many can't help but dream of the utmost elite honors and successes. For collegiate student-athletes, being named an All-American is one of the highest honors to achieve. After sweeping the Kansas Collegiate Athletic Conference (KCAC) titles, javelin throwers Seth Derr and Miranda Burton continued on to compete at the NAIA Nationals at Mickey Miller Blackwell Stadium in Gulf Shores, Ala. May 22-24. Derr's sixth place finish and Burton's eighth place finish earned them both All-American honors, putting them at number three on the Swedes' countdown of Top 10 moments for Bethany Athletics in the 2013-2014 season.
