North runner Gabriela Reyna provides another answer with win at El DoradoPublished by
“Why?” is the typical response North cross country coach Mike Pope receives from his star runner Gabriela Reyna when he tells her the workout plan. It’s not in defiance, but rather in curiosity for Reyna, a junior who is excelling this season working her way back from a leg injury suffered in the spring. On Saturday morning in El Dorado, Reyna claimed her fourth victory of the season by winning the El Dorado Invitational in a season-best time of 18 minutes, 24 seconds.
