The Bethany College track and field team will be represented at the NAIA National Championships by Miranda Burton, Kaitlyn Davis and Johannes Riemann.

Johannes Riemann and Chelsea Stuewe have received the 2013 IMA Corp., All-KCAC Champions of Character Award for track and field.

Three Swedes competed in the Sam Williams Twilight Qualifier, hosted by Emporia State University, on Saturday, May 11. This was the last meet for Bethany to qualify for nationals.

The Swedes men's track and field team competed in the KCAC Championship Meet on May 6-7, hosted by Tabor College. Bethany had many positive performances of the meet.

The Bethany women's track and field team placed sixth at KCAC Championship Meet on May 6-7, hosted by Tabor College. The Swedes also had individuals place within the top ten and qualify for the NAIA National Championships.

The 2013 KCAC Track and Field Championships scheduled for Thursday and Friday, May 2 and 3, have been moved to Monday and Tuesday, May 6 and 7 due to weather conditions. Tabor College will host the event at Joel H. Wiens Stadium in Hillsboro, Kan.

Tanner McGehee, Derby, Kan., has signed a letter of intent to run track at Bethany College for the 2013-2014 academic year.
