The 2013 Capital One Academic All-District ® Women's Track and Field / Cross Country Teams, selected by the College Sports Information Directors of America, have been released to recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances athletically and in the classroom. The Ottawa University women's track and field program has two student athletes named Capital One Academic All-District 6 First Team. They are Chelsea Fullerton and Lauren Buckles. This is the first time in program history that the women's track and field team has had someone named to the team. Capital One became the entitlement rights holder to CoSIDA's Academic All-America teams programs in 2011.
