After competing at the Emporia State Open on September 27, the Bethany College men and women's cross country teams spent the next two weeks preparing for the Rim Rock Farm Pre-Nationals event on October 12 in Lawrence, Kan.

"We had a good day of performances as six individuals ran lifetime personal best marks and many of the others ran seasonal bests," said Head Coach Robert Spies. "I could not be more proud of the effort these young men and women put into this race as well as the entire year thus far. The team is rounding out the backside of the season and they are really coming together nicely as a team."
