ELSAH, Ill. - On the very cold and windy Saturday morning in a small town called Elsah, Illinois, Julio Martinez (JR/Phoenix, Ariz.) made history for the Bethel College Cross Country Team. Martinez became the first male runner to ever compete at the NAIA Nationals Cross Country Meet wearing a Bethel Threshers uniform. Martinez finished with a time of 28:01, placing him 291st out of the 331 competitors at the meet.
