Track Travels to Alabama For NAIA Nationals

GULF SHORES, Ala. The Baker University track and field team will send 22 of its student-athletes to Gulf Shores, Ala., this week to compete in the 2014 NAIA Men's and Women's Outdoor Track and Field National Championships.

The event will take place at Mickey Miller Blackwell Stadium, and for $5.95 fans can watch all the action, by clicking here.

The following athletes will be participating this week for Baker: Kayelyn Wolken (Javelin), Billi Pipes (4x100m and 200m), Dayshawn Berndt (400m and 4x400m), Tyler Sloan (100m hurdles and 4x100m), Kiana Turner (4x100m), Diamond Griffith (4x100m), Lauren Allen-Brown (4x100m), David Gregory (4x400m), Tyler Randall (4x400m), Birdsong Warren (4x400m), Matt Busch (Pole Vault), Ben Carpenter (Pole Vault), Katie Thurbon (Pole Vault), Avery Parker (Triple Jump), Kayla Hannam (High Jump and Triple Jump), Valerie Schirmer (Hammer Throw and Shot Put), Josh Peck (Discus), Stephanie Nelson (Discus and Javelin), Cody Viergever (Javelin), Jordan Miller (Javelin), Megan Rosa (Marathon) and Paige Rockers (High Jump).
