[Men's Indoor Track & Field] Friends Wins 2015 KCAC Men's Indoor Track & Field ChampionshipPublished by
MANHATTAN, Kan. – The 4th annual KCAC Indoor Track & Field Championships were held at Ahearn Fieldhouse on the campus of Kansas State University this past weekend. Feeling lucky going into Friday the 13th and loving the outcome on Valentine's Day, the Friends University men's track & field team overcame a powerful sprint squad from McPherson to garner their 2nd Indoor Conference title in just 4 years. The men used event balance and depth to score 132 points, 12.5 points more than the runner-up Bulldogs (120). The Falcons scored in 17 of the 19 events and had 2 or more scorers in 8 of those 17. Every aspect of the program did their part as points were accumulated from the jumps, sprints, throws, and distance squads. The middle distance runners carried the bulk of the load, putting up 50 of the 132 points from the 400m, 600m, 800m, & 4x800m Relay. Read the full article at: www.friendsathletics.com
