MANHATTAN, Kan. - On Valentine's Day the Friends University Women's Track and Field Team received plenty of love from the Kansas Collegiate Athletic Conference after holding off Southwestern in the final events to bring home its 2nd Indoor Championship in the last four years. The ladies put together 156.5 points, 22.5 points more than the 2nd place Moundbuilders (134). The Falcons depth in the jumps and hurdles gave them the ability to bring the titles back to Wichita. Every aspect of the program did their part as points were accumulated from the jumps, sprints, throws, and distance squads. This was the first time in the Falcon's Indoor Championship history that they scored a point in every single event on the track and field over the two day meet (19 events).
