Former KU cross country and track stars Paul Hefferon (2004-08), Benson Chesang (2003-07) and Nick Caprario (2007-11) each recorded top finishes last Saturday at the Waddell & Reed Kansas City Marathon. Hefferon claimed first in the marathon with Caprario coming in as the runner-up. Chesang was the first-place finisher in the half marathon race.
