Winfield, Kan. -The Southwestern Women's Cross Country team is still receiving votes in the 2011 NAIA Women's Cross Country Top 25 Poll released Wednesday afternoon by the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics national office.

The Lady Builders, behind the efforts of former KCAC Women's Runner of the Week Jennifer Hendrixson (Sedgwick, KS) have had a solid start to the 2011 season.  Unfortunately, at the current time, SC has no signature victories over a ranked opponent to boost their rating in the national poll. 

Friends University is the lone KCAC school to break the top 25, as the Lady Falcons rank 9^thwith 447 points.

The poll was voted upon by a panel of head coaches representing each of the conferences/independents/unaffiliated groups. The next regular-season Top 25 poll will be announced on Sept. 21.
