Clark Named NAIA Scholar-Athlete

BALDWIN CITY, Kan. Baker University senior runner Cooper Clark was named one of 223 runners from across the nation as a 2013 NAIA Daktronics-NAIA Scholar Athlete.

In order to be nominated by an institution's head coach or sports information director, a student-athlete must maintain a minimum grade point average of 3.5 on a 4.0 scale and must have achieved a junior academic status to qualify for this honor.

In his final race in a Baker uniform, Clark took 41st at the 2013 Heart of America Athletic Conference championship race in a time of 31:25. The Wildcats took fourth place as a team.
