BU Takes 22nd at NAIA Pre-Nationals

Tosh Mihesuah and the Wildcats competed just a few miles away in Lawrence, Kan., over the weekend

LAWRENCE, Kan. The Baker University men's cross country team competed in the NAIA Pre-Nationals meet at Rim Rock Farms in Lawrence, Kan., on Saturday.

The team finished in 22nd place out of 30 teams with a time of 2:21:32.9.

Vincent Tadokoro led the squad with a time of 26:52.53 finishing in 75th place, while Corey Matteson was second on the team finishing in 144th place with a time of 27:54.46 and Jamie Sturery finished in 163rd place with a time of 28:22.35.

Andrew Dare finished in 193rd place with a time of 29:08.89. Cooper Clark placed 201st with a time of 29:14.67, while Carter Breithaupt placed 215th with a time of 29:36.33.

Tosh Mihesuah and Ulrich Johanning rounded out the Wildcat squad with Mihesuah placing 238th with a time of 30:34.83, and Johanning running a time of 31:03.89 finishing in 246th.

Baker will next travel to Winfield, Kan., and compete in the Mid-States Classic on Saturday, Oct. 26.
