After a first place finish at the KCAC Cross Country Championships last year, the Friends University Women's Cross Country team was selected number one in the 2013 KCAC Preseason Polls.

Second year coach, Damian Smithhisler, returns to the trail with a strong class of returners, as well as a large freshman class. A national contender, Senior Rachel Renken, will be counted on to lead the Lady Falcons to win their third consecutive KCAC title!

The women open their season with the Friends University Invitational, the Falcons season opener and home meet, on September 7 at the Cessna Activities Center in Wichita, KS.
