Not many cross country programs can say they have qualified as a team for the state meet every year of their existence. While Goddard Eisenhower has only been open for three years, the girls team ensured on Saturday at a Class 5A regional that its season will end in Lawrence running at Rim Rock for the third straight year. The Tigers registered their finest race of the season to ensure the regional’s second state berth behind a dominant performance by Bishop Carroll.
