The men’s team competed against 24 other teams and a total of 219 runners, while the women’s squad ran against 19 other teams and 167 total runners.
Lauren Jaqua ran the fastest time of any Wildcat with her fifth-place time of 18:36. Behind her Megan Rosa, Kerry Kurta and Ashley McBride all finished as a group placing 36th, 37th and 38th respectively.
Lindsey Brown finished in a time of 20:03 and took home 55th-place, while Jenna Stambrough took 75th and Dana Loveland placed 125th in a time of 22:27.
In the men’s race, Aaron Caldwell finished in 12th-place in a time of 25:24 and Jeremy Bryan finished just behind him nine seconds later in 16th-place.
Eric Larson placed 34th and Taylor Nall cracked the Top 40 in 38th-place in a time of 26:21.
Justin Bryan came in 72nd-place, Garret McPherson finished 141st and Cooper Clark finished up in 144th. Dallas Kaiser ran the 8K in a time of 29:45 and finished 156th and teammate Ulrich Johanning took home 172nd.
The men’s squad finished ahead of fellow HAAC teams Central Methodist and Avila, CMU took ninth and Avila finished 22nd. The Wildcat women’s team finished just behind CMU, as the Eagles took third and ahead of HAAC opponent Peru State who finished 18th.
