A junior from Lansing, Kan., Jaqua was the runner-up at the Haskell Invitational with a time of 18:33 over the 5,000-meter course.
Her efforts helped Baker to the team championship and her time was just eight seconds behind individual champion Natalie Becker from the University of Kansas.
The weekly award winner will represent the HAAC in consideration for the NAIA Women’s Cross Country Runner of the Week award, which will be announced on Tuesday afternoons.
